The XO armed with an automatic pistol was less capable of defending herself than an unarmed girl scout in a street fight. The navy should sue the writers. The two things that would make this show better are crew discipline and a good Australian 20 minute monologue whinge by a sailor about everything that is wrong in his life and how it is all the fault of the RAN. 1 out of 1 found this helpful.

The Nine Network spent some ridiculous amount of money on it too. This series is so couched in the Hollywood mode that it is a farce. Was this review helpful? I wasn't looking for accurate tales of the Navy but for just good clean entertainment to close out the world. The way the "director/HACK" allowed this to play out on screen is basically all the bad guys just allowing it to happen when when you watch it you're wondering why didn't the bad guy just mow down the good guys. Australian war ship can be taken by one fishing vessel lol. Maybe the director wants to put the Australian Navy in a very pacifist light? This is just an appalling piece of television. Marvel at the visuals. After watching season one which was so refreshing to watch because not only Australian but an action drama set in on a navy ship and best of all the cast are all quality actors- which i remember watching Jeremy as Kurt in HeartBreak High!

My 12 year old daughter shoots better then any of them jeez.

Lisa McCunes tears are so forced you might believe its a medical problem. From reading some of the reviews it will get different to watch in time but I'm going to stick with as I recognise some of the cast from other things.
Budget for the show must have been spent on shots of the real patrol boats sailing.
