There was no charge for entry to the festival or the concert, so i wasnt sure what to expect.. We arrived 30 mins. We were up front and saw the whole incident.

Bless him, Robin Wilson was the utmost professional and tried to get the crowd into the show but struggled despite a solid performance. I hope it is not another 15 years before I see the Gin Blossoms because I am old now and might be 6ft under!I went to the Claddah Pub in Lawrence to see the Gin Blossoms. It was certainly a memorable show and I would see them again!Beyond amazing show at Maryland Live! Maybe that's why they only played 5 songs and promptly left the stage. They just keep getting better!! Gin Blossoms are gearing up for the Venetian Festival! Now, I started to be concerned about the quality of the show. He gave a sweet little girl a tambourine and she was thrilled.
I would see them again for sure.Fun concert!
The band sounded as good as they did in 92! I’m not a Fastball fan but they were great. Unfortunately during the performance of their last song Hey Jelousy,the lead singer took to standing on a chair which turned out to be flimsy and he fell through it, which was a surprise, being he looked all of 120 pounds. They lifted the mood by playing a few more upbeat songs.The show was over and I felt like I had experienced something unique.
Both guitars rocked the house the drummer was hot and the bass player Bill Lean was totally on.

These guys still have it and continue touring, making crowds go wild. They very rarely hit Canada and it showed to the crowd who seemed to vaguely recognize their hit songs and even though gin blossoms have been active through the past decade making new and fantastic music the lack of penetration through radio didn't help. These guys never disappoint. After he came out for an encore,he sang I Want It That Way acoustically,by himself,and the band returned for three more songs. !The Gin Blossoms were fabulous.
They recorded the album "Dusted" independently, releasing it in 1989, catching the attention of A&R records, who signed the the following year.It was their next release, 1991's "Up & Crumbling," that established Gin Blossoms as a band on the rise, breaking into the mainstream charts with their hit single, "Hey Jealousy" in 1993. If I had known that, I never would have bought the tickets.

WOW!!!! I met my idols from 30 years ago, and they were amazing! Roughly half the crowd had left mid way through The Gin Blossoms set. Hosted by Charlevoix Venetian Festival and 2 others. This was saddening because Robin, the lead singer feeds on the crowd. I felt bad for the bandsRiverdome at Horseshoe Casino & Hotel - Bossier City - Bossier CityWe really enjoy the Riverdome because it is a small venue and has great entertainment. 2 surprises from the Seattle 8/23 performance: The original lead singer sang a song, and the band included a cover of a Tom Petty Song. We were so excited that they mixed it up and threw in Miss Disarray.
The crowd was full of people in their 30's and 40's.
We were there at 6:00 sharp. So much fun in the songs were great! They told stories about how they remembered playing this venue many years ago. Collective Soul really rocked it out and that was a great way to end the evening!Great show! He was jovial and made the audience laugh. During Fastballs show, it looked like a parable from the bible, slowly and two by two, the Greatest Generation, slowly shuffled out of the arena. They played all of their hits, including, the whole first album !
