I have only been expanding my rum cabinet for about 3-4 months, so I might have to come back to this after a while to see if my opinion is still the same.The nose is very intense with classic hampden notes of fermented pineapple, gluestick, burnt rubber and banana. The estate which is set within the famed “Queen of Spain Valley” consists of approximately 3500 acres. It's not terrible, but not for the faint of heart. After years of aging in the Caribbean climate the funky esters develop complexity and depth rarely seen in any rum or spirit of any kind. Still glad to have it in the collection.Fabulous, and lovely.
