The application allows the UX team to quickly convey their ideas to the creative designers without the expectation of deciding the visual branding of the site. Since the project can be exported as an interactive PDF (if you programmed any interactions), you can show your clients a simulation of the UX and they just love that. Balsamiq is the agency's go to wireframing tool. I like the most how easy is to use to select any type of option to create a wireframe in very short time. I have use it for both desktop and mobile apps with very good results. If you're not a graphic designer or a full time UX designer, it's great to quickly test ideas and show them to your clients. Another thing I found difficult was printing. I wish you could tell it to fit everything onto multiple pages at a certain scale. It's very imprecise.

Balsamiq makes everything we present to our clients very clean and professional looking. You can use a white board, but if some of your people are remote then this is a better option.Quick easy mockups during meetings to explore ideas. If you use Confluence, there's a nice plugin that allows to embed mockups in your pages and is possibly cheaper than the standard plans.The free trial has a lot of features available and the price for the paid version is not expensive. I used it when I was a Freelancer and it was one of my primary tools. The end wireframes look great and get good feedback from the team.The ready made components are awesome and super easy to use and set up.Some of the mock ups can appear very rough as if someone has designed them with a very pressured hand on a piece of paper.There are very few User Interface elements which is a disadvantage to this software as UI is constantly being updated.Wireframes can look child-like and unprofessional with some settings.

I would say it is a good tool for mockups with a lot of features that are focused specifically on mockups which makes it very nice and outstanding.Balsamiq is very easy to pickup and start creating wireframes, it has loads of great features that make it a joy to use.
